Role Overview

As a Google Earth Job Specialist, you will be responsible for leveraging Google Earth and associated tools to analyze geospatial data, create impactful visualizations, and deliver actionable insights to our clients. This role will require a combination of technical skills, creativity, and a strong analytical mindset. You will be working closely with project managers, data scientists, and other subject matter experts to contribute to a variety of projects that make a difference.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Utilizing Google Earth and Google Earth Engine for geospatial analyses and data visualization.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that fulfill client needs.
• Conducting research and analysis using geospatial data to support project goals and objectives.
• Creating and maintaining documentation of processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
• Presenting findings and visualizations to clients and stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
• Staying updated on advancements in geospatial technology and tools, including Google Earth-related applications.
• Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews to continuously improve our approaches and solutions.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience working with Google Earth, Google Earth Engine, or similar geospatial tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide insights.
• Proficiency in GIS software and tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
