Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ranch operations, ensuring a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.
• Manage a team of diverse staff members, including guides, cooks, and housekeeping staff.
• Coordinate guest activities and programs, ensuring that all experiences are safe, enjoyable, and memorable.
• Maintain relationships with local vendors to secure necessary supplies and services.
• Handle budgeting and financial planning for the ranch, including forecasting and overseeing expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices for horse and guest safety.
• Implement marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain returning ones.
• Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Promote and provide education about sustainable ranch practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management or supervisory role in a hospitality or outdoor environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff.
• Operative knowledge of horse care and riding, with certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
• Knowledge of marketing and business development in the tourism sector.
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
