Position Overview

The Medical Writer will play a crucial role in our organization by creating, editing, and reviewing a variety of scientific documents. This role is essential in ensuring that our regulatory submissions are clear, concise, and aligned with best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and possess exceptional writing abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality clinical documents, including protocols, clinical study reports, and investigator brochures.
Analyze and interpret clinical data to create informative summaries and reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accurate representation of study findings.
Edit and review documents prepared by other team members for clarity and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and meet internal and external quality standards.
Stay up-to-date with current medical writing practices and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the development of training materials and provide mentorship to junior writers.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this medical writing job will possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Writing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical writing, preferably within a clinical research environment.
Strong knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and reference management software (e.g., EndNote, RefWorks).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
