About the Role

The role of the PLC Programmer encompasses various responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting tests and debugging PLC systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Providing technical support to troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automation code for PLCs, specifically Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi platforms.
• Create and update process flow diagrams, control narratives, and system documentation.
• Configure and maintain HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems connected to PLCs.
• Participate in the commissioning and start-up of automated systems.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and software updates on control systems.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC programming.
• Strong knowledge of automation concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in programming software such as RSLogix, TIA Portal, and GX Works.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Work Schedule and Compensation

This is a part-time position that offers flexibility in scheduling. You will have the ability to choose hours that work for you, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, with an hourly pay range of $35 to $50 depending on qualifications.
